DSP stands for Direct Support Professional. DSPs are people who work directly with individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.

Yes! If your child is 18 years or older the care provider can be a parent. If your child is under the age of 18 the care provider can be a grandparent, aunt, uncle, or any other family member or trusted friend. In either situation, all DSPs must be 18 years or older.

Anyone who:
• Is able to pass a detailed background check
• Can provide a current CPR/FA card
• Has a valid Driver's License or Government Issued ID Card
• Has a valid Auto Insurance Card reflecting a current policy -
IMPACT starts all DSPs at $24 an hour. We are also structuring 401k and medical benefits to start in 2022
