Caring for a child or family member with developmental or intellectual disabilities brings unique challenges that you face every day.

At IMPACT, we understand the ongoing uncertainty and financial concerns that come with this responsibility. Our mission is to ease your burden by connecting your loved one with a dedicated, trained personal care professional. They provide essential daily support and collaborate with you to create a tailored development plan, designed to meet your family’s specific needs—no matter the level of care required.

“IMPACT has been a great asset in helping me get the care I need for my 5 year old special needs granddaughter. Anytime I have questions or need help with paperwork Gina and Trevor get back to me immediately. They’re always friendly, caring, and professional.”

- Steve T / Medford Oregon

IMAGINE MONEY’S NOT A FACTOR

That’s because IMPACT’s services have never cost our families a dime, and can actually pay you to care for your family member or loved one.

BE YOUR OWN FAMILY’S PROVIDER

Often, a family member can serve as a Client’s provider, including a parent if the child is 18 years or older—offering a meaningful option for the family. After completing the approval process, that family member becomes an IMPACT employee and gains the same benefits as an external provider. Contact your Case Manager or Service Coordinator to see if you qualify.

GET AN OUTSIDE PROVIDER

If you choose to bring in an external caregiver, we will coordinate a Direct Support Professional (DSP), referred to as a “Provider,” to support your loved one. As IMPACT employees, these Providers offer personalized one-on-one assistance, including meal preparation, promoting safety during community outings, running errands to practice essential life skills, navigating crosswalks, using public transportation, and developing communication with others.

We are committed to selecting and employing the highest caliber DSPs/Providers. At IMPACT, our mission is to foster an environment where Providers feel valued, loyal, and motivated. We offer competitive compensation at the top of the pay scale and create quality, well-paying jobs within Oregon. Additionally, our Providers receive a benefits package that includes a 401(k) plan, ensuring long-term security and satisfaction.
